I’m delighted to tell you that I’ve been asked to be the new SEN site expert for Netbuddy.
Netbuddy offers practical tips from people with first-hand experience of learning disability, autism and special needs. It’s a great resource and I’m really pleased that they’ve asked me to join their team of advisers.
I will be answering your ‘how to’ questions about statementing and offer tips on parenting children and adolescents with special needs. If you have any questions about SEN reform, such as what will it mean for your child and how things will change, I’ll do my best to give you the latest information that’s available. I’m also pretty good at signposting, so if you need advice on where to go for help, I’ll try to help you find your way.
I often get contacted privately via my contact page with questions from parents in need of help and, although I am time limited, I do my best to send them in the right direction. Now I have Debs on board, I’ll also be seeking her input as someone with a huge range of knowledge. If I don’t know the answer to a question, I know a woman who will!
So, if you want to have a look at what’s already been answered, hop on over to the forum page and do leave your question if you have one!
